See which AI answers name you, and who they name instead.

Every week we put a set of real buyer questions to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, and check Google's AI Overviews. Then we show you the answers, word for word.

How the scan works

  1. 01

    Your questions, not your keywords

A scan built from search terms produces answers nobody asked for. We use buyer questions phrased the way a customer would type them, because that is what people actually ask an assistant.

  2. 02

Four engines, plus Google's AI Overviews

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity are asked directly, each with live web access so the answers reflect what a real user would get rather than what the model remembers. Google AI Overview citations are tracked separately.

  3. 03

We record who won, not just whether you did

Every answer is checked for your name, the position you were cited in, and which domains were named instead. Losing to a directory is a different problem from losing to a competitor, and it needs a different fix.

  4. 04

It repeats, so you get movement

One scan is a snapshot and tells you almost nothing. The value is the second scan and the tenth: share of answers over time, questions gained and lost, and whether the gap to the leader is closing.

What the free scan can and cannot tell you

The free scan crawls your site the way an AI engine would and scores how ready your pages are to be read, understood and quoted. That is a real answer, and it is free.

It cannot tell you whether AI names you today. Asking four engines a set of questions and capturing their answers is a live job that costs real money every time it runs, which is why it happens weekly on a paid account and not on a free scan. Anyone offering you that for nothing is either not doing it or not doing it often enough to matter.

The thing everyone is selling you that does not work

The standard advice for AI visibility is to publish an llms.txt file. Ahrefs looked at server logs across 137,000 domains and found 97% of those files received zero requests. Of the traffic that did arrive, AI retrieval bots were 1.1%. Most of the rest was SEO tools checking whether the file existed.

What does move AI answers: being cited by sources the engines already trust, having your business facts consistent everywhere they look, and answering the question directly on a page rather than burying it. That is unglamorous and it is what the dashboard measures.

Start with where you stand.

The free scan takes two minutes and needs no card. If you want the answer scan, it runs the day you sign up.
